We are delighted to announce ABTA’s 2024 Corporate Travel Conference which will be a one day event hosted at aha Kopanong Hotel & Conference Centre.
Conference will be followed by an evening Boma Cocktail Function for all Conference Delegates.
THE AIM OF THIS CONFERENCE IS SIMPLE.
Travel Buyers can look forward to engagements with peers that leave them inspired to be different, diverse and daring in their roles managing a Corporate Travel Programme. Information is great, but inspiration is better!

ACCOMMODATION, TRANFERS & VISA'S
ACCOMMODATION:
Discounted accommodation is available for Conference Guests at aha Kopanong Hotel & Conference Centre, 243 Glen Glory Rd, Norton’s Home Estates, Benoni, 1501, South Africa.
Conference delegates need to book and pay for their accommodation directly with the hotel. Please ensure bookings are made timeously to avoid disappointment.

Bed & Breakfast single: R1 380.00pp
Bed & Breakfast sharing: R1 700.00 per room (R850.00 pp)

AIRPORT TRANSFERS:
ABTA Conference Delegates need to book and pay for their airport shuttles directly with the hotel – sales@kopanong.co.za – as follows:
- The Kopanong Shuttle is parked behind the Inter-Continental Hotel, ORT, and collects delegates in accordance with flight details received from 06h30-22h00 daily.
- Airport transfer rates – R150.00pp.
- Kindly send through your flight details at least 48 hours prior to arrival for the delegates to be collected on time from the airport.
- The hotel makes use of an outsourced company for airport transfers; therefore we require a 48-hour prior notice period to book the shuttle.
- The return shuttle departs from Reception on the half an hour, every hour i.e. 16h30, 17h30, 18h30. The return shuttle needs to be booked 48hrs prior to departure to confirm the driver.
- For your convenience, the driver’s can be reached on the following numbers in the case of delayed or canceled flights.

VISA LETTERS:
Should you require a letter of invitation from ABTA in order to apply for a Visa to attend Conference, please send an email, with a scanned copy of your passport biometric page to monique@abta.co.za.
Please note:
Visa letters will only be provided for Conference delegates who have booked and paid for their Conference attendance, and who are known to ABTA.
HOW TO BOOK YOUR SEAT
- At the top left of this page, select your currency
- At the top of this page, select your Registration Category in the yellow block. This will update the price above the ‘Next step’ block. Please ensure you select the correct category.
- Type the number of seats you want in this category next to ‘Next Step’.
- Click ‘Next step’ which will take you to your basket. If you want to book additional seats, repeat the process and each item will be added to your basket.
- Click ‘Proceed to Checkout’ on the right. If you have a Promo code, enter the code and then click ‘Apply promo code’ first.
- Complete the Billing/Checkout details and Attendee details. If booking multiple seats, each Attendee’s details must be completed.
- Select your preferred payment option. For credit cards, you will be re-directed to the Payfast gateway. For Bank Transer / EFT, you will have the option to print an automatically generated invoice from the site.
- Click ‘Place order’ on the right
- An automated email confirming your booking and providing an invoice will be emailed to you (please check spam)
